Young Professionals - $75

Early-career professionals (aged 21-35) working in environmental justice or related fields. They have full membership rights, can be elected/appointed to leadership positions.

Students - $75

Undergraduate or graduate students interested in environmental justice or related fields. They have full membership rights, and can be elected/appointed to leadership positions.

Retirees - $50

Former active members who are retired but want to stay connected to the profession and enjoy all membership rights and privileges.

Affiliates & Professionals - $150

Professionals actively engaged in environmental justice or affiliates working in related fields. They support NBEJN's mission and enjoy full membership privileges.

Frequently asked questions

Applications are processed semi-monthly by the NBEJN executive committee. Please allow 4-6 weeks for application processing. Once applications are accepted, you will receive a welcome email from NBEJN’s administrator containing new member information.

NBEJN members within good standing are eligible to vote and hold elected roles within working groups and as regional hub leaders. Members have access to general body meetings as well as working group meetings. NBEJN members also have exclusive access to our archive of trainings and webinars. NBEJN members also have eligibility to be granted sponsored attendance to a plethora of environmental justice convenings, given approval by the executive committee.
